All my characters are starving

I'm stuck on puzzles too long and everyone's starving, where do I get more food once snails stop spawning?

I went back all the way to the first floor to check for more food but only found 2 mushrooms

The snails on floor 6 respawn indefinitely, just shuttle between the large hall and the snail room.
Ice lizards on floor 9 respawn when entering/leaving their area.

Don't go overboard with farming the food. You'll receive a lot of ice lizard steaks and they're both very heavy and very satiating.

I'm having trouble not starving even when farming the ice lizards

If i'm not mistaken, your guys need to eat more if they are using up stamina a lot and carrying a lot of excess weight, need to heal up naturally a lot etc... maybe i'm wrong on some counts but I think it's the case. Wasn't it also the case in Dungeon Master?

before you start a puzzle save. then after you solve the puzzle load the save
