MAC C++ Exception / No error.log

The game used to work great, then it started giving me a C++ exception at the main menu and i cannot play anymore. It tells me to send the error.log to the devs, yet the directory it says the error log is generated at is nonexistant.

Please help!

I have the same error, « C++ exception ». The last steam client udpate dont solve this error.

Same problem (but on xubuntu 14.04). Latest Steam client (1.0.0.49) not fixes it nor Steam beta update.
Exist any solution?

Same problem on my laptop with Ubuntu 14.04 (64-bit), but with the addition of locking my system and making me to force a hard reboot. However, on my desktop this doesn't seem to be an issue (same OS).
