FPDungeon Games
I saw someone was doing a mod for Eye of the Beholder, an old AD&D game from the 90s. Given the popularity of Legend of Grimrock, might we see Almost Human dipping into licensing to remake some of those old games like Strahd's Possession and Stone Prophet in the LoG engine?

With people being able to do it themselfs - unless they give up for whatever reason - why should AH?

That is precisely the reason. In my experience, having the tools to develop something is fantastic but people taking on that size of a project give up far too often to make it worthwhile to invest in their development. AH is an independent game developer - they release completed products. So I would prefer to support them and pay say...$15 bucks for a reboot of Stahd's Possession to encourage them to make more games; than nothing to someone who will give up halfway through their rebuild.

I would gladly pay FIFTY DOLLARS! For a polished product with shades of Ravenloft and Stone Prophet.
