I can't even watch the movie, need help please.

I just got a new laptop, everytime I try and play the movie its a grey screen and different colors on the top of the screen. I have downloaded Java and Flash, not sure if I'm forgetting a program or something, help.

EDIT: I have figured out how to get past this. For anyone looking for help go to your Program Files, then Steam, then Steamapps, then common, find Indie Game:The Movie, then data, then movies, and everything is in there, including the extras and the commentary.

that did not fix it, although I may have to redownload it to get AIR to work

Not sure, the way the whole sort of interface is based on AIR

well, it didn't work when I redownloaded it either. I sent them a message asking what it runs on and what can be done to make it run, I'll just wait for a response and see what to do from there

I figured out what to do, Go to your Program Files, then Steam, then Steamapps, then common, find Indie Game:The Movie, then data, then movies, and everything is in there, including the extras and the commentary.

I have the same problem with the movie, but I'm not a native English speaker. At least engllish subs will be helpful for me, but there is no subs in those folders nor embedded in the video file. It look like they are hardcoded somewhere in the player for this movie.

Maybe problem lays in a codecs we are using. I'm comfortably use Combined Community Codec Pack (CCCP) for years with default configuration. Or maybe problem in video driver.

I did download every single codec file I could think of, I believe its just something in the computer that it doesnt wanna work, or perhaps the card or something

Are there still no better solution than going for the source file? I run on ATI graphics card (both desktop and laptop) and have checked my Adobe Flash and AIR installation three times with no success.

i' ve same problem , i can't watch anything ... buy if i find Program Files, then Steam, then Steamapps, then common, find Indie Game:The Movie, then data, then movies , it's working but the subtitle isn't there ..
