Game-breaking errors and technical support is MIA.

I find it completely irresponsible and absolutely outrageous that 2K Sports has completely abandoned support for MLB 2K12. The season isn't over and yet this game is unplayable in franchise mode. I will never ever buy another 2K Sports product again. Shame on the executives and their abyssmal leadership for allowing this travesty to occur. Good God, but I hope EA brings back MVP Baseball for the 2013 season. Even though EA is the Golden Turd winner of the industry, they at least produce great sports franchises.

ever since its release its been a very bugged game. Wont even load now. The my player clutch moment is also broken. 2k11 is much better

I've written technical support three times. Not once did 2K respond. I didn't even get the obligatory automated response you would to expect to get from technical support. I did some reading online and it's evident that 2K Sports has completely washed their hands of their product and they don't care what their customer base has to say. They haven't put out a patch for the PC since 1.04 and yet many game-breaking bugs still exist. If it's not the "clutch-moment" crash, it's the amateur draft day crash. If it's not the autosave feature on franchise mode, it's the October 5th end of regular season crash where the game won't even get past the loading screen. I would never have bought this game if I knew that this game would effectively stop working at the end of the regular season. It also amazes me that 2K Sports won't even acknowledge that they created a bug-filled, unsusable product and at least try to address the issues. No, they got our money and have effectively said "Thank you and you're stuck with a product that failed to last five months."

The only work around I have found is that I change to date back on my laptop to the beginning of the month before I load the game..

I tried it and it still crashes at the end of the game during the post-game commentary. Ugh. I'm uninstalling it.

I think the fact that there current versions of 2k baseball doesnt even compete with the earliest version of mlb the show series might make them a bit aggitated,There are an unusualy large number of rumors flying about as well that this is the last 2k baseball game due to a massive lost revenue on the franchise.I mainly like playing 2k baseball over the show for my own reasons but do to 2k not even trying to make an effort to evolve 2k baseball over the franchise history im making the move to a ps3 and the show,Although ill still be using steam and my pc for graphicly intense games,I will maintane hope that 2k is just taking a 'Timeout' and might consider an overhaul in the future if the rumors are true.

I finally got my game to play by changing back the date on my computer (which is rediculous btw) anyways thats fixed, but now my batter doesnt respond when I tell him to swing. I dont know if theres a simple fix like changing my screen saver to floating flowers or something to get that to work now, but if anyone knows please let me know. I was one game away from the world series before all this crap happened.

Yes. I've uninstalled, re-installed, validated, re-validated and the same issues (game freezing /crashing at the end of a franchise or my player game, crashes during a clutch moment or I forget to set the date backwards before I start the game and it crashes at startup) persist.

I changed the dates, bios, upgraded all drivers, every game on steam works, but MLB 2k12. I also emailed the company, it seems as they have your money now, so screw you and your pc platform....take2games.com is by far the worst company for fixes to any of their games, as i see it, it was a costly mistake purching this game, but will neve happen again, take2game.com will never see another cent from me

I refuse since purchasing 2k11 and same deal, game breaking issues and no support or patches attempted to fix the problems. This post just assures me I will not be purchasing their products.
