Trying the date fix

jsut bought the game. shoulda looked it up first, or else i woulda said screw it. I'm trying the date fix, manually doing it, and using the script, but it's not working for ♥♥♥♥. says its loading, finishes, music cues, then.. Just the game hangs. got a mouse cursor and thats it. Dunno if its the date thing, or what. Any help. please. shoudln't of got the game. lol

Was having the same issue myself - Google "Beyondo" and try that - try setting the date to October 1 - if that doesn't work, try September 26. For some reason, those are the two dates that work for me. (And you can set Beyondo to automatically reset your system date for you after 'x' number of minutes - I use 2 minutes for my setup.)

I go with April 1st 2012. Beyondo makes it easy. Heck, the game's awesome once you get it correct. It was very fustrating at first but it's worth it in the end.

Setting date to Sept 1 works everytime for me.

I recently bought the game too, but the problem is that I can't get passed the loading sreen. I don't know if it is the date thing but I am experiencing the same exact problem. Just my mouse and I in the background, I keep having to restart the pc inorder to close the game...

On Windows 7 I just click the date on the bottom right of the screen, then click change date and time settings, then change date and time, and then select 9/1/2012. It's a pain in the ar*e, but this is a good game. I'm trying to find out where Steam saves the roster file.. Can someone help me? I downloaded a 2013 roster mod and need to know where to put it.

I use April 2nd 2012... and yes, you're right, Beyondo works great and the game is pretty awesome once you finally get the date fix to work.

It would be nice, since the season is just starting, if 2k would atleast fix this issue for the remainder of the 2013 season so us PC owners can have a decent baseball game to play..... with updated rosters and be able to take advantage of all the features that were available last year.
