It's a real shame that the broken mouse sensitivity ruins this game.
Playing the demo, it looks like the game can be a lot of fun, but the mouse controls and their gimped sensitivity hamper the movement so much that it ruins the entire experience.

I know that this has been brought up here many times before, but I wanted to reiterate how sad something so necessary was overlooked during the porting/development process.

I recommend you to play this game with controller only, seriously.

Yep... Everything about this game seems pretty awesome, too bad it is basically unplayable because of completely broken mouse sensitivity. Another waste of money and worthless game in my library because of a simple problem that it should never had been released with anyway, or should have at least been patched immediately

And no... I refuse to play with a controller, seriously.

It does have keyboard controls

It's fairly hard to navigate certain areas with the keyboard. I plugged in a PS3 controller just to finish a couple places, actually. I typically prefer the keyboard for these kinds of games, but it wasn't working out well.

Not to be rude or anything but what areas. The only one that comes to mind is wehn your in the factory and have to fly with the debris

It's been months since I've touched the game, but I remember a part when you have to hide in garbage and fly through tunnels. It took me quite a few tries with the keyboard, but I did it in one go with the gamepad.

You're playing a shmup with a mouse?

Are you serious?

Stick or pad for maximum responsiveness. Gimping yourself with keyboard or mouse for a shmup is only for pros. Don't try this at home, kids.

Mouse is probably easier. It's like relative touch controls for shmups on touchscreens.

A mouse is a hell of a lot more sensitive than any analog stick.

Even if I saw the mouse in the option panel. Playing with it never came to my mind. I'm even asking myself why did they implemented it... Use keyboard, in my opinion it's easier to just push a button that move a stick.

what self respecting person would play this game with a mouse, even worse, hinge all opportunity on mouse controls as an exclusivity?

that is the most backwards player mentality i have encountered in a shmup discussion, even more backwards than all of sine mora's design flaws combined (no hitbox hilite in gameplay for instance).

it's funnier than dismissing street fighter because of keyboard controls when there is a healthy variety of input options.

the standard input for both shmups and fg's is either stick or dpad, ♥♥♥♥♥ after you fail with both of those but not for mouse controls ffs.

p.s. mouse sens works well with my setup. your configuration has ruined your game, fault is on you. toggle your acceleration on and off to test a difference. i recommend knowing what you are doing before you open your mouth without knowing what you are talking about.

sere is an idiot.

If mouse is an option it should work...period.

it may not be your ideal, it may not be THE ideal, but if its presented as an option it should be functional.

I just want to chime in and say I have been playing this with the mouse and it works extremely well. I had to max out the sensitivity and my DPI, but it works very well at precise movements, such as dodging bullets in those "screen full of projectiles" moments.
The only problem is when you have to cross large distances very quickly. It moves too slow. But once you play it enough, you learn where to go before anything happens :D

Nevermind. Just tried it with the xbox controller and am currently destroying this game
