Best specialisations
What are people's favourite turret specialisations?

I always take the comm tower's range upgrade. It makes a huge difference to the effectiveness of my key towers, which ultimately is what wins the game.

The cannons and rockets have options to set units on fire. I find these can be useful on sea levels when cannons are awesome and there's not always a good place to put a flamer. Generally, though, I've found it more useful to build 1 flamer and take the upgrades to firing range.

For the flamer, I prefer the 'more slow' upgrade to the 'longer duration' as it keeps the units in range of my key clusters. Honestly though, this isn't normally an issue and so it's very rare that I take a flamer specialisation.

I'm still quite new to the game, though... does anyone out there have any tips for me?

Well, i tend to get all the flame specializations because i use the "dig in" option on most of my turrets, with the dig perk too. With the flaming rockets and incendiary cannons i don't need to use the flamer, and the flamer is one of the turrets that you can not use the dig option. So: dig perk + dig turrets + flaming specialization = lots of damage, range, armor and slow enemy units.

Hi. I use Eagle Eye, Entrenched and Phantom Strike (Fast Fingers on the beginning). Flamer (Special: Slow), machine gun (Special: Doble damage) and cannon (Special: Incendiary). The dig in bonus is excellent, makes your towers imba and some comms make it better.

First, I build some machine guns maxed and digged and a flame tower, some times a few bomb towers, and then cannons. I used to "dig in" all the towers as faster I can.

I hope this will be useful.
