Supply Crates?
What am I supposed to do with supply crates? The help only showed up once on the second map, and since the game is not paused and I was too busy trying to put towers down to kill bad guys to read it. There's nothing about them in the help...

Bomb them, they give you money you eventually need later on to purchase turrets!

Ok, that's one way of opening something I guess... why when I click on them does a red arrow appear?

I figured it out, if you click them any towers in range will target them.

You got it. I sometimes put a heavy turret beside them and then click the crate between waves. But bombing them seems like the most effective way of opening them.

i drop bombs on them... they take too much time sometimes.

just make sure you account for distance from your own turrets

I used to use bombs too, then I learned the power of dig in. Take edsons ridge as example, 2 machine guns (default loadout with level 2 max, veteran diff) up the hill in the middle next to 3 crates. Dig them in, turn towards crates and engage. When wave comes, just turn 1 tower (you can still turn towers after they're "digged"), build new towers and dig in whenever you get cash.

Similar tactic with bomb tower (default loadout, max level 1 on this map) ended with 3 crates (those 3 close together of which you can damage all each drop) and zero leaks (level 2 machine gun covering the road and helping with crates between waves) ended up fairly similar but lost by a few seconds.

Yeah my conclusion was that bombs are a last resort when you can't justify putting towers near the crates. Bomb towers are not the best investment, better to avoid them if you can.
