It's an entertaining platformer game, but IMHO not much more than that. The plot is as simple as the mechanics: absorb everything! From pretty much the beginning, you are on a constant quest for things smaller than you so you can grow. You start out eating paper clips and hamburgers and end up with tanks and even larger things (no, I won't spoil it). It's basic fun, really. Especially when humans start noticing you and try to stop you.
Still...though it has some not-too-easy segments, the overall isn't very challenging. Aside from the basic search-and-absorb and a slam down attack (if you want to call it that), you have magnetic powers that attract or retract you. It has some moments (think Mario Galaxy), but IMHO not really enough to carry the entire game. I played through it in 3.5 hours and kept playing mostly for the (hilarious) cutscenes, the billboards with winks to other games and the music (which is great).
Overall...I'd say it's about 7 out of 10. It probably doesn't help that I've played this after Guacamelee gold (which is Drinkbox's later game), which has stuff that I found missing here (like a boss fight here and there...and more a sense of growth in abilities). Still...I'd thumbs up this. :-)
