Custom Controls
While the provided controls scheme is highly recommended, you can edit the customcontrols.ini file to customize your keyboard/mouse/gamepad the way you like.

For me, custom controls appears in
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\tales from space mutant blobs attack

How can you put telekinesis on gamepad (xbox 360)?

Hey Ricco,

Unfortunately, that isn't possible. Telekinesis sections require the use of a mouse (or trackpad).

i fixed it with Xpadder. Work perfectly now. thank you for the fast answer. And by the way its a great game... im having so much fun!!

Dear Devs, what were you thinking? The requirement the use of a mouse while playing via gamepad ruins all the fun of such a great game. It's like when driving in a car, you need to turn left, you have to open the glove box. Thanks.

Have to agree....I am kinda iffy on buying it because of that honestly, these the the types of games I like to lay in bed with my controller and play on my TV(HDMI).

Just use Xpadder, it worked well for me.
DrinkBox Studios is an independent video game developer, be indulgent its not E.A or Activision et cetera....

The fact that developers are independent, does not justify such a 'creative' idea of the game controls. Enjoy your Xpadder.

We have just submitted an update to address this. The game now supports playing with only a gamepad, using the right stick for Telekinesis control (and x to cycle focus between Telekinesis objects).

hello gamers !

i would like to play with arrows keys instead of Q,D,S,W. How can we configure it please ? thanks

Thanks! While the key-options seem well made on first view (lots of alternates!) NONE of them worked for me because of 2 mouse-buttons only and a non-english keyboard ofcourse.
It put me down as I really like the music on this game and was highly motivated through it.

I am able to give it another try now later …

Zozio:
Go into C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Tales from Space Mutant Blobs Attack
or wherever your local files are for the game.

Open customkeys.ini

top line should be g_useCustomKeys true

then make sure to change these lines to include the desired custom keys
SetCustomKey BlobLeft0 KEY_A KEY_LEFT
SetCustomKey BlobRight0 KEY_D KEY_RIGHT
SetCustomKey BlobDown0 KEY_S KEY_DOWN
SetCustomKey BlobUp0 KEY_W KEY_UP
