Support NIS, they're new to this PC thing
A lot of their classics are amazing like Disgaia (obviously(put them on the map)) but also games like Mana Khemia and Holy invasion of Privacy Badman. Usually they will sample one game on a new system to see if that system is worth investing time in e.g Cave Story 3D on 3DS, didn't sell to well and so fans like me now have lil hope in continued support for that system. I just want to see them return to PC and get better at producing games for it so some day mods will be a big part of their attraction to PC gamers and true RPG fans. Yes there are minor issues with Cladun 2 but when compaired to the possitives the game offers, it still holds up as a decent game with plenty of customization and hours of dungeon crawling fun that built off of the solid PSP original.

developed yea but published by NIS, same with Cladun and a lot of other games but they still hold a certain feel to them which is recognized as NIS

I don't know if they fixed it with patches or not but this game had some serious issues originally. It was basically just running on a poor emulator and would glitch up all the time. I played the demo fine and played the full game without issue for a day or two but everything went to hell from there. Game refused to work properly, ran around 5 fps constantly and had to be reinstalled to fix the problem.

My impression was that they did a lazy PSP port.

If they want the support of my wallet, then they should release a port that's not half-baked and sell it for a reasonable price.

Hada boyfriend that played Disgaea. It was pretty freakin' sweet. L'aharl's cool, and I love Etna.

Cladun, on the other hand, is legendary to me. Random dungeons and complete freedom over pixels? LOVE it!

Kudos to the OP!

I adore NISA and what they do, but it seems that, in this case, they just did a lazy port and dumped it onto Steam without any consideration towards pricing, marketing, etc. Have they patched any of the issues that were present in the game at the time of its launch? What's up with it not going on sale?

If I knew that repurchasing Cladun on Steam would lead NISA to release more of their games on the PC, I'd be all over it. I just can't shake the feeling that, in this case, they just threw something at the wall with little forethought and, after initially poor sales, decided to dip out.
I hope NISA does continue to release games on PC, even if they don't fully utilize Steam's features. Cladun X2 is an awesome game, regardless. My biggest hope is for a release of Z.H.P. I don't have my PSP anymore, and that was my favorite game on it, period. I'd pay way too much for a half baked port of Z.H.P.

I guess NIS doesn't like money, because no one is going to buy this game for $20.

I am fully aware of all the problems ClaDun X2 has, but regardless, i bought this game because I strongly support the idea of them putting games onto the PC.

I think that if they are to ever make a newer release, they could either include some Valve related content into their game, or make a Beggars Bazooka reskin that launches prinnies. Hell, just having a Prinny Hat in TF2 is enough to sell their games.
I also hope they continue to make games for the PC. Cladun X2 is actually a lot of fun, in spite of the flickering menu glitch and limited graphic/video options.

i REALLY wanna get it, but I also REALLY want it to go on summer sale, enjoyed the♥♥♥♥♥♥out of the first on my PSP, more than half my library for PSP is dedicated to Nippon Ichi to the point that outside of Burnout and Corpse Party, my PSP is my Nippon Ichi gaming system (Disgaea 2, Phantom Brave, Prinny 1, Prinny 2, Badman, ClaDun)

I just REALLY wanna make Gig and his blade from Soul Nomad
