It *will* get you vac banned. Don't touch it.
Sure, it "works", but VAC will ban for it if you're not lucky since it's a modification of a core-file, for which VAC may ban.
VAC-bans are NOT instant. If you're unlucky you'll get a ban in a few days. The fix in the video is for the OLD version that did NOT use VAC and thus did NOT ban for it.
Since we cannot tell on which level of rights this program is used (whether it tells Windows to give it the "More than 2GB" flag or if it modifies the executable) we cannot be sure what VAC will do.
also this is a launcher file and not the game itself.
Anyone actually been VAC banned using this yet?
VAC bans are not instant like the other posters pointed out. It take weeks or even months before the ban hammer comes. This is done to confuse the hackers community on which hacks was discover by VAC.
Not only will you be ban from the game but also all games that use the same engine. For example if you are ban from TF2 you are ban from all games that use soruce engine. VAC ban will also be shown on your profile page forever. You won't be able to hide it.
if you want to enjoy the game without laggs and freezes its the only way atm.
