600 players online at the time of my posting.

Is it super popular? No. Are you gonna have a hard time finding matches? If its anything other than death match yes. Is it dead? Not at all.

sirragesalot u say death match isnt? i tried for ages i death match but didnt find a game
Harvester of Sorrow Jan 1, 2013 @ 5:14pm
I can normally find a death match game without too much difficulty.

matchmaking is heavily dependent on your region unfortunately since it seems to be peer 2 peer. If the game cannot match you with other players nearby with a decent ping, you're not gonna have a good time.

Someone said in another post that Monolith doesn't even include GCI on its website game list.
How long before they get us much money from us as they can and pull the plug?

I uninstalled my regular client and found a game right away on the Free to Play.

I haven't found a game on the Regular client for the past few months. I would of upgraded to the FTP faster but I have a 156k connection only. I didn't notice any lag really.

the regular client is involved with GWFL while the f2p is strictly steam. Thus players of the original cannot play with the f2p version.

No the game is not dead, there are allot of people playing it. Sometimes it can be hard finding a TDM, tho that all depends on what time you play it at. There is also a few lags here and there with a few servers. Many players on it worth playing and vary fun.

Well that was a genious move.I played the heck out of this on ps3 and loved it.Wanted to play it on my pc but have only gotten 2 or 3 decent games in over a month and have gotten into 0 fumigation matches which are my favorite mode so that being said I guess you can see why I asked the question not to mention the fact that the few games I have gotten into were after a 10 plus minute wait.

^ I don't really hold this particular opinion, But a signifcant majority of players do not like GFWL.
Dr.SkareKrow Jan 2, 2013 @ 8:48pm
Yes i get that but with already such a small player base it seems crazy to have them split up.

IT HAVE BIG PROBLEM ! CONNECTION IS VERY BAD! BUT GAME IS COOL!

It's not dead yet but it's in it's last stages of the process of dying–especially since there is no longer any support from Monolith. Plus take into consideration all the other problems i.e. poor matchmaking, host servers which suck, etc. and it's only a matter of time until you can truly say “Yes, this game is DEAD”!
