product code
i need help. i bought the game on origin and at that time it wasn' t f2p.
Since it' s f2p on steam we were told we could have xp boost and other bonuses granted to those who have paid the game, by copying the product code (redeem). But i don' t know WHERE TO COPY MY PRODUCT CODE??. It doesn't work with the "activate a product on steam".
Can you help me please.......maybe someone who have made this operation successfuly.
I really love this game and would like to play it on steam, but if it' s to loose all my level and skill and unlocked items......i would like to get the benefice of these granted bonuses.
i' ve asked the question several times but never had an answer.

I know the process slightly varies depending on whom you had the game through originally. I had it through Origin and did this (straight from the GCI website):

1.Navigate to the My Games section in Origin
2.Scroll down to Gotham City Impostors, and click on the “i" icon
3.Select the Product Code for Gotham City Impostors
4.Take that code, and enter it into the redemption box on Steam
5.Note: If you're having issues unlocking your DLC using your Product Code, delete all the hyphens from the code before entering it into Steam.

Hope that helps.

Thats the only other thing I can tell you. I know I already had downloaded/installed the free to play version first. It's been a while, but I don't remember if I used the "Activate a product on steam" box or if there was one in the free to play game once you start it. I'm sorry I'm not any more help.

I'm pretty sure it was the "Activate a product on steam" option.

I checked mine again. When I imported it from Origin, I had to add the hyphen after every fifth item (12345-ABCDE-12345-ABCDE-12345).

i also think it s the "activate product on steam".
But sorry my english is not perfect and i don't understand what is the "hyphen"........... i think you re talking about the little seperation between the numbers of the product. If it's that i ve got to put the "-" every fifth going to try it this evening when back at home.
May i add you on steam (if you agree) ???

Feel free to add. I hope you can get it to work.
