Everyone really should be changing their connection settings to 1.5. I would argue that few people play this game because few people know how to correctly fix their settings so that everyone gets a fair game. Most of the time, lag-outs are caused by some douche who thinks he has great internet.

If you're always green ping and everyone else is red, CHANGE YOUR CONNECTION SETTINGS. You're ruining the game for everyone, and I'm getting really sick of it.

Blame it on the poor net code, not the players. The people playing the games should not have to be worrying about their own settings and diving into them in order to make sure everyone else has a playable game.

Monolith have had this problem on all platforms since the beta on the Xbox 360 & PS3 versions and it has persisted through release, PC version, the F2P version, Guardians of Middle-earth on Xbox 360 & PS3 and finally Guardians of Middle-earth on the PC.

Monolith know this problem is there - there's no way they couldn't seeing as how it was the most brought up subject on every forum the game had including the official ones - and yet, they've refused to fix it. They've not responded to it and they haven't even attempted to fix it. The only problems they've put much effort into fixing is the ones that are stopping them from making money. Monolith have some talented developers but they only seem to be interested in making quick money and then running along to another project to do the same thing again.

Don't blame the users, blame the developer that knows what needs fixed and will not do so because they have their money already. Take it a a sign to avoid their games, be sad for a bit then begrudgingly move on like the rest of us.

Yeah, clicking the right setting during installation is way way too hard, better skip any game the developer doesn't code to do it for you.

Actually I've grumbled about the mulitiplayer code in this game. Video stuttering and seemingly unable to get a fast ping server. I fixed this by going into advanced video setting in game and through catalyst control panel (ATI). What a huge difference it made when I toned the defaults down. Try lowering your resolution too. What apperared to be poor low ping servers were actually becasue of the local default video settigs. I had to dig a little to find them. I hope this helps. As frustrating as this game has been I still enjoy it when you get a good server and good players. Good luck!

P.S. Changing my connection to 1.5 mps prior to this (as above) seemed to help as well. Cheers

Yeah these idiots can't tell the differance between red or green. Its not that hard, no one every bothers to go to options to check settings or change other options that may optimise performance. Also these same dipsticks don't even check to see how the damn controls work and keep asking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the screen, becaue they don't know how to do things to play. Check options Ass! They must be ♥♥♥♥ for brains if they think slow to no weapons respons, lag spiking, and jump slide floating movement is average or planned game performance. Wake up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!
