Passive or Violent - What's your preference?
Do you prefer to play without killing anyone, or do you strive to see the blood of guards cover the floor?

Violent way is more funny, but the passive is harder. I think I prefer the violent.

I try to accomplish my goals with as much stealth and as little bloodshed as possible. That said, there are a few levels that it just isn't possible to do without a little help from my two friends, mr. left and mr. right hooks. The "Resolver" isn't necessarily required. It helps get out of certain tight spots though (without actually discharging it that is).

I knock'em all out, but i don't kill, exept when i can kill someone in a cool way. Ex: that part where the guard is looking out the window, so you tackle him and you both fall.

Stealth the first try. Progressivley more violent as the fails stack up.

I find it a fun challenge to get Gentleman on all levels. Except the last one since Gessler deserves a nice toss 254 punches to the face. If you're in a pinch for nonviolence, you an always pounce on a guard, the pounce off without hitting him.

I have beaten the game the violent way and passive way i have to say to get all A+ you have to have a mix of both i think one mission acctually rewards you for killing everyone so yeah.

But it also activates the sniper on the map which gives you 30s to complete the stage before he kills you .-.

I try to go all stealth but end up tackling the guards when it's the only option left (instead of restarting the level). I'd like to try and go through the whole game as a gentlemen once :)

Stealth for the challenge and the satisfaction; violence for the fun. There are so many ways to kill in this game - its awesome

I like being non-violent because it's more challenging and it requires more thought. I played through the entire campaign, getting the gentleman rating on every single mission. Then on the last mission, when I tried holding Gessler at gunpoint, instead of saying, "I've seen your record. I know you'll shoot," he'll say "I've seen your record. You haven't killed a soul." And when you tell him to drop the gun, he says "Never!"

So I had to kick a door into him, which, for some reason still gives you the Gentleman rating.

I always go into a mission intending to be a gentleman, 90% of the time I turn into a murderous psychopath. Going to go back through and work on my manners now that I've beaten it one way...

My priorities are ghost and ninja, so i've beaten two missions with "Psychopath, Ghost, Ninja" (from the tutorial, since there is no way to get Ghost without killing guard or two) and the last mission with "Non-lethal, Ghost, Ninja". Rest of them were complitely stealthy, earning "Gentleman, Ghost, Ninja". It's quite challenging to play that way and much more satisfying.
