Game won't start. Steam Support not responding. Please Help!
This is the message I sent Steam Support a week ago:

I recently bought Jet Set Radio and have been unable to play it. Every time I try to launch the game, it crashes immediately (error code at the bottom). I have tried reinstalling my video codecs, reinstalling the game, reinstalling DirectX, and verifying the game cache. Nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If anyone has any suggestions or knows a fix that would be great. I have also have made sure that all my drivers are up to date and have tried running it as an admin and with every compatibility option available to me. Any help would be great!

Sorry to pop into your thread, Greenphoenix, but... would you by any "chance" happen to have an Intel chipset as a secondary (actually, primary) graphic card? If yes, your problem would be the same as ours (Optimus and all, see the other threads for that).

I do have an Intel chipset as my secondary, but even when I tell jetsetradio.exe to run using my NVIDIA card it does not work.
I have heard back from Steam once with a response that did not work (deleted all extra files in my Steam folder and verify the cache), and am currently waiting to hear back from them. Hopefully I can play this game soon. >.>

Yo Phoenix, I got the exact same problem than you. Don't count too much on Steam so far, as in an almost 3 weeks long support about JSR, I only had one mail saying the exact same thing as you... Did you try the Sega support by any chance? If not, I'm encouraging you to do so. The guys are more wiling to help, and they may not, like with me, find any solution to your problem, but that will add to our cause... the patch won't get out without us putting a bit pressure I'm affraid.

Someone Report to Blit Software!

I recently bought this game too, redeemed it on Steam, Installed and get this same APPCRASH error all the time. I was surprised because I never had a problem with any prior title on Steam, especially not a new release. I tried everything, from running as an administrator, to toggling between every kind of compatibility setting, installing it on another drive, changing the settings in jsrsetup (MSAA, resolution) and nothing worked.

I did not pirate this game, I have a legitimate steam version. I don't have any save files and I don't know if there's anything else I can try to get this game running on my own. This is unacceptable a new release to crash on launch, without nary a word from the publishers on when we might be able to play the game.

I love Steam and i hate you SEGA.
If some people the game not working, why they don´t release a stupid fu#king patch for the fans?
Someone have been on Steam Fórum and Give a Ticket to request a fix for the game?
WTF! Sega no responding? They are playing with us :@

I sent a ticket in to Sega as well. Hopefully they fix this issue.

The game works fine for me.

Sonic and Nights as been well treated.
For Jet Set Radio "0" because blit only made Sonic CD as well a port.
The other 2 are 100% exclusive by SEGA.
I Think SEGA don´t like Jet Set Radio or Sonic CD a bit, if they treated good the other 2 games, they don´t give a dam about the other 2 by Blit.
If Blit made Nights or Sonic 2, the game was trashed bugged and unplayable for some people.
Shame on you SEGA!
We need a Patch For Jet Set Radio, even my game work ok, but it crashes a few times when we beat high scores in some cases.

It works now! Was this patched in the background? If so, thank you for the fix! Does it work for anyone else that was having the appcrash error?

Checked it again, and it still does not work for me. =(
