Failed to initialize DirectX 11
Whenever I go to start Hitman: Sniper Challenge, either Steam will give me Error (41) like a lot of others or it will give me this error: http://gyazo.com/ead365b328b6f3aa335596c6f8d55e9a

I know I don't have DirectX 11, my video card does not support 11. However, my video card DOES support DirectX 10 which I know for certain that I DO have. Call me crazy, but if a game, such as this one, lists DirectX 10 as one of the SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, one might imagine that said game would be content to run in DirectX 10.

Are there any launch options that one could use to force the game to run in DX10 or some sort of .dll one might be able to place inside the folder for the game to make it detect DX10?

In the game launcher go in to options and in the Quality tab set the level of detail to low, and now start the game. If it starts than one of the Quality options is causing this error, in this case just change all settings to high (one at a time) to find the setting that is causing the problem.

What graphics card do you have?
Operating system?

Graphics Card = ATI Radeon HD4670, 1 GB of DDR3 Memory
OS = Windows Vista SP2

Also, as a heads up, the launcher doesn't even come up. At all.

I'ts suppose to come up by default. Validate the game files:

Right click Hitman Sniper Challenge in your Steam Games Library. select. "properties", In the "Local Files" tab click on "verify integrity of game cache..."

I've done that multiple times. I actually did it first when I got the Error (41) that many others have gotten. I don't get the error anymore and now, whenever I try to launch it, it displays that error then closes itself. I watch in Task Manager when it happens and the process just terminates itself.

Are your directx and graphics drivers up to date?

Disable other secondary graphics cards.

Other than this I don't know how else to help or what is causing your problem, I googled it but it doesn't seem like many people are having this problem with this game.

Updated both after the error appeared, error still appears even when both are completely up to date.

I've had my integrated graphics card disabled completely ever since I put in my 4670.

Same here, Radeon x1900 purported to have directx 11 on a Windows 8 machine. Reached out to Square Enix, no solutions. I was looking forward to playing this game.
