This game is on sale. Is it worth it?
I like adventure games. Is this one worth it? I have all the other adventure games by the same company but haven't played them yet.

I did finish the game in 2 hours without looking at any hints. Story was interesting but there isn't a lot of places to visit and puzzles aren't that difficult. In conclusion, full price I would say no but with 75% discount it's worth the buy.

took me 4h, but i also looked at the different endings and wasted some time setting up the game (it wouldn't let me play in 1080p)
besides that: what darkmos said.
some of the timechanges are a bit confusing (especially the one in the antiques shop), there are some minor plot holes, but nothing too bad. it feels a bit rushed, but worth a playthrough

I think it's certainly worth the eight or so dollars they want right now. Definitely good for two or three hours of occult interest.

I liked the game it's interesting, twisty turny and a bit darker than your average adventure game. Overall I thought it was really well done but do keep in mind as others have commented it is quite short.

I think I ended up with 12 hours but I stopped and smelled the roses and did multiple endings and tried to really dig into every little corner, get everything out of it and not rush through.

I am probably the extreme on one and I think 2 hours is probably the extreme on the other but maybe 4-6 would be about norm.

I really like the game but the one thing that makes me hesitate recommending it completely is the short length. If you are okay with that then I would say definitely go for it.

the characters are worth the $10 alone. really really likable characters maybe the best cast ever

I love the point-and-click genre, however, I just can't get over how much I dislike the art direction Pendulo have went - it's a real deal breaker for me.

How does it turn out to be 8 GB?? Reason I ask is I don't normally like point and click type stuff but wondering if there are some other mechanics going on here to make it take up so much space.

I can only assume that the size is due to the high quality art, animation and the large amount of spoken dialogue.

As for the 'is it worth it'. For the discount price, yes, for the full price, no. Pendulo's earlier games were much longer than this and sold around the same price. So now we're getting less for the same money.

It is a fantastic game, high quality art and voice acting. The story line is darker and more adult compared to their past games, but the length is the only let down, which at $30US isn't justifiable for a game that can be finished in one sitting.

Judging by the fact it's been on sale twice now in the space of 5 weeks, it may well get a permanent price reduction and tells me that the game isn't selling well at the higher price anymore.

Meh, i played on my friends house, i really like point n click games, but didnt like this one. The art style, the crazy puzzles that dont make sense, and im getting tired of characters picking up garbage on ad adventure game without knowing if its gonna be useful. Im waiting for the next Heavy Rain.

I would have been quite irritated if I payed full price. As, like others said, it's a short adventure. But on sale, I'm pretty content with the overall experience.

I think the length might have something to do with the fact they have streamlined the gameplay a lot. No longer you have to watch the guy walking down a very long road for example as in their other games. The doubleclicking behaviour is much better than on previous games.

As for the amount of content I would say it actually has more than The Next Big Thing for example. There is no places where the gameplay is artificially stretched out. It may be 4 hours long, but it's all filled with very interesting and engaging story and actual gameplay.

Buy it while it's still on sale! It's really worth it. Except if you don't like good stories, amazing characters and plot twists.
