Amazon gives me steam code, still need Windows Live code?
I bought the game off Amazon and it included a code that allowed me to activate it on Steam, only to have it ask me to jump through a few more hoops to activate it thru Windows Live... in doing so it asks for another code which I don't appear to have. The Steam code doesn't have enough characters. WTF this the most annoying crap ever.

and how about the cd-key,it is when you start the game and then push shift+tab or just look in the library(steam)

Yes, in your library, right click on the game title and look for "show CD key" and select that option, that will open a small box, there are two buttons, select "copy to clipboard" and when you start the game and when the GFWL client starts and opens the blank boxes, click the first box and press "Ctrl" and "V" at the same time, its a keyboard equivalent to "paste" - the code should fill out in the boxes and select ok, it will take several seconds and gfwl will activiate, if you want you write down the cd key and enter it in manually.

and yes, it is very annoying, except for the many xbox gamescore hunters, we wish all pc games had Mandatory GFWL DRM and Required Xbox 360 Controller support.

I am not too sure but I do believe Iron Bridgade offers a choice if the person wants to run the game normally or run it with GFWL, I think these "GFWL" PC games should all... have that option, to have that GFWL option toggled on or off in some sort of in-game settings and then can be set to automatically start with or without GFWL. I think that would be great workaround for people who don't like GFWL but do want to play the game without GFWL.

I myself do play PC games for GFWL Xbox gamerscore achievements and yeah, even for me.. GFWL can be a pain in the ♥♥♥

The only problem I have with GFWL enabled games is that, if they do a rushed port job of the achievements, sometimes the achievements don't stick to the server and will re-lock. It happened with this game, and it happened with the GFWL version of Dark Void.
