Rocket guiding: Worst mechanic in this otherwise great game.
Its just painful guiding the rockets through those tight areas, anyone know if this is used much, I hit my first one like this and rage quit....I usually never rage quite no matter what...its just so sensitive, almost unbearable. Any tips....besides pure luck?

Try and guide the rocket around the corners before it comes to the corners. And "drive" it like a granny drives a car.. constantly going back and forth on your analog stick to maintain balance.. That's about the best advice I can give. Took me about 4 "missile runs" on my first one to finally get it through

Yeah, I will try that, literally made me stop playing and I loved everything else about the game so far lol. Thanks.

Once you accomplish one, the rest are doable... But just wait till you come across the one in the Mechanical section.. fml.

I just quit the game a few minutes ago thanks to the rocket controls. I can't get the hang of this thing. The rest of the game's controls were perfect so this misstep is unfortunate.

Nope. The crystal lights was waaaay more terrible as a mechanic. So frustrating.

Yeah really ruins a good thing. I personally don't play games to get annoyed, I don't mind hard games but ones that seem unfair, ridiculous or broken are a no no.

what method of control are you using?
I'm using a control pad and the rockets have been pretty easy to control so far.

I use analog sticks and rocket guiding sucks big time.

Yea ... not a fan of having to repeatedly do this with a mouse ...

Yeah really bad game. Bad game mechanics overall. Not recommending this game. I don't know why the developers thinks this is fun trying to guild a little rocket through a maze is beyond me.

I won't take credit for this. Did some research on the subject and found the solution. It work for me and hopefully it will help you guys.

All credits go to Fire_Wraith

"Try this: when directing the missile, make sure you're thumb stick is always fully pressed forward to the point it can't go forward any-more. It seems counter intuitive but it stops the controls reversing on you.

After finding this out I managed to get the missile through the maze in one go rather than struggling time-after-time-after-time to try to control it."

One thing that I tried that helped me was to turn the mouse sensitivity up. I had it all the way to 100 and found it easier.

I'm at this stage too. I'm almost at the point of quitting this game. This mechanic is ridiculous. Plus I'm using the Steam Controller... trying out all the different right pad settings to see if it helps control the rocket better... big NOPE on that end. Frustrating beyond belief.

Thats it, Ive officially given up on this game. Rocket mechanics are total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t. completely impossible with the Steam controller . Sad
