I would skip this one for Rift, Lord of the Rings, EQ2, or Runes of Magic, the graphics are just that bad, but if you can overlook that, it's a good game with a core of dedicated players and probably runs great on 8 year old PCs with XP even.
Guessing.... YMMV
Um, as much as I enjoyed Everquest back in the day, it's nigh unplayable now. Let me recap how you will feel: "How do I move? Why is this inventory so clunky? Man, those buildings look like poop. OH CRAP I FELL OFF THE LIFT. *grindgrindgrind* This is taking too long. *uninstall*"
Serious, MMOs have come a long way. No need to go backwards this far.
On the other hand, if you like grindy MMOs with exceptionally hard content, this works.
as for the games content, massively extensive. You will never run out of things to do. leveling itself takes months maybe a year if you are casual. If you count AA points it could take you a decade to get all the xp you want.
You do not need to subscribe to keep playing the new expation
These devs need to learn from Turbine. If you're going to add a f2p feature to your mmo, at least allow players to earn game-store credits simply by playing the game. I've been playing LotRO for two years, though my first year was rather casual, and haven't spent a dime on it. Just time, and if you enjoy exploring the world and playing like a completionist, it's possible. Not here, though.
Way to make people fork out for the bare bones of a 13 year old game.
im interested in getting a new mmo to kill my time. i was huge into swtor, but its not fun getting back ino games you played already. whats the best out atm? i want levels, classes, tons of gear variations, weapons, and everything else we love about mmo's.
if this game diddnt look like its from 1998 or something id give it a shot.
