How do the past SH games compare to this??
this game has turned out to be such a pleasant surprise that i really want to try some other games in this series. I already plan on getting jack the ripper. What are some others that are worth playing?

The closest to the Testament is certainly the Ripper, but there is a noticable difference in term of Graphics. However if you're in mostly for the story and the challenge, I'd recommend The Awakened too.

Jack the Ripper is the best game in the series. And Wael, why did you guys dumb down the deduction elements in this game? There was 2 more collumns and a lot more options and connections in Jack the Ripper. Also, there were too many box opening puzzles, focus more on the detective puzzles next time. Otherwise this game is still pretty good.

My favorite is Hound of the Baskervilles. Its scary and fun!

@Flacracker, all of our games are different, SHvsJTR is based on true facts,to summarize the investigation we needed solid deductions boards. TTOSH is less investigation and more adventure about the Detective as you noticed, so less deduction board. For the next game, the deduction board comes back in full force and this time you will even choose who is guilty.

I personally feel ripper and testament are the only ones worth playing.
Ripper has a few problems with difficult to pass areas nearly requiring a walkthrough, but the quality of writing is spectacular.
The nearest game to these is so far down in quality that I don't recommend bothering with them.
