Building names disappearing

Sooner or later, quite often after loading a save, the game will stop showing building names. Anyone found a fix for this bug?

That doesn't work for the building names. You can also tell when the bug has happened by how the games map view has zoomed in after you reload a save. Would be helpful if anyone who has bought Harbor Master DLC can confirm if the bug is there too?

they disappear when you reach a special rank and i think its a bug ctrl don´t work to turn them on like it says in manual

yeah, I never figured out any solution. Too bad, when it comes to games of this type they dont make them as good anymore. So you're stuck with the old, and hence their bugs too.

sure, why not. It's not like there's any better pirate/boat trade game been made since this one. Might as well ♥♥♥♥♥ about the state of this niche genre anywhere you can!

8 years... Got DLCs, I think these make the names disappear. Now I have to guess which building is where. Come on, Kalypso, fix please!

I think it's a feature not a bug. If I recall correctly, back in the day, in the forum one of the devs said it was intentional, so after your tutorial phase is complete you no longer have the names visible. But that was a very long time ago, so take it with a grain of salt or something.

I've never had any problem with this so far. If I have any doubt about what building I'm looking at I just click on it. I sort of have a pattern in placing buildings according to their types. I place residences together. Schools, hospitals placed next to the road. These kinds of buildings are placed in one area and businesses placed in another area.

In a city that produces wood and bricks, for example, I place sawmills together on one side of the road and a group of brick makers on the opposite of the road. Farms of the same type placed together. Farms of different kind placed next to each other. I build bakeries in a group, same thing with tailors.

Over time you'll memorize the appearances of each building.
