What is the problem you are having? If you post on support thread we will probably be able to solve it with you: http://www.futuremark.com/support
Isn't that bit like shooting the messenger?
Even the fastest single-GPU cards (GTX 680, Radeon HD 7970) do not manage more than 40-50fps on Performance preset at 1280x720 in the benchmark tests of 3DMark 11 - this is by design. The only way to accurately measure what the hardware can truly do, and to measure it on all kinds of system, is to push truly harsh amount of things for it to render. 3DMark benchmark tests are not designed to be smooth - they are designed to figure out what your card can do in the most extreme situations.
This program runs with your game and tell you what fps you are getting during play on any game.
steam version of 3dmark "launch 3dmark" on the same syatem... so i get 80303 (gtx680) http://www.3dmark.com/is/230098
BTW the 3mark "futuremark" demo... is not slower... http://www.3dmark.com/is/5674 and http://www.3dmark.com/is/8620 (approved) both around 125000, using the demo.
how did steam leave the "parking brake on" in the steam version of 3dmark?
Umm......... not sure if you know what the true purpose is behind a benchmark. 3DMark is all about raw number crunching and power, its not a game and nor is intended to run like a game.
This is more of a stress test so obviously you will not see 60fps plus on DX11 Ultra preset, look on 3DMark's website and compare scores. You will find people have spent far more money on hardware than yourself and they also don't get these magic figures that you believed to exist in a 3DMark benchmark.
Hopefully this will give you a little insight
now if it told you you can run a game and that you can get 60fps, so you go and buy the said game and you only get 10fps or the game won't run because your pc has very low specs then they are breaking the law
these kind of programs can check whats is in your PC your graphics card your cpu your ram
all the programs that you have installed your passwords your pictures, so be very carefull running these kind of programs, and if you think that the benchmark score is dodgy bells should be ringing, you give the program permission to check your PC but it could be cloning all your information, not all of these programs including this one are dodgy,
even the programs that check your PC for what kind of ram that you want to buy can take over your PC and clone all your important information.
it has happened in the past, never let anyone remote your computers...
but I got over 20,000 marks in 3dmark2001! why dont i get that in the new versions(!)
