you scroll around the field looking for the guy with the red eyes and mouth with the evil expression on his face and shoot him. As you get closer to him the area will start lighting up more. So use that to find your way to him within the time limit. At least I think that's the right mini game.

I found that the best way is to look for spots it gets lighter. But Later there are multiple. THe thing is it never changes by the same monster so if you know where to go it will be easy.

But I also have problems with this mini game.

Yeah this one is terrible, I don't understand the point of making it harder later on when it's practically dumb luck.
