We're not sure it won't replace the saves. And we need both account at the same time to play multiplayer.

Had a look using a process monitor, made a fake profile then deleted it, and steam.exe seems to be accessing H:\Program Files\Steam\userdata\32221553\205190\remote\ . couldnt see anything relevant coming from rocksmith.exe so Steam must be handling the saves
those numbered folders might be different on your PC though, so you may have to use Process monitor yourself to find out your directory, it's free just search 'process monitor sysinternals' ,now remotecache.vdf and localprofiles.json are also accessed and I am guessing they are the index files for the profiles, so you can't just copy the profile files to another PC because they wont be listed in the index files on the new PC
So my idea is to make a new Rocksmith profile on the machine you want to copy to, use the same username as the profile you want to copy over so the user will be added to the index files on the new machine, then go to where that new profile was just created and now you could replace the files ending in _prfldb & _profile with your own, making sure to keep the filenames the same as the ones you are overwriting
now this might not even work as I have not tested it, but just giving you an idea. obviously back up your profiles before overwriting etc, and check you are overwriting the right profile (the dummy one you just created) so you are gonna have to have the profile folder open before you make the dummy account to see which is your friends account. again backup, I take no responsibility if something breaks :)

you're welcome, I had a little test, and after you replace the dummy files with your real ones, next time you start Rocksmith the Steam cloud will complain the save files on your PC are different to the ones in the cloud, so you have to select the second option which it offers, to upload the files on your PC to the cloud
You may have to start the game twice, because when I did it, on the first start it said it couldn't sync, so I just closed that message window and tried again, I think Steam got a little confused
but it does seem to work, so good luck :)
