Bass not picking up, possible fix think i found the issue.

I kept have the game not pick up my playing, saying it was to loud. So i was adjusting the pickups on my guitar trying ot get better tone, to my liking and set it a little to high. The game totally lost the signal. So thats when i pulled out my bass and set the pick ups down alot. This removed almost all of the loss of signal/over load issues. Im guessing that the pickups are sending a distorted signal to the computer the sound analization software can not clean up. So if you are have trouble with your bass or guitar not being picked up by the computer, try and lowering your pickups down. Hope this helps, I know i stopped playing my bass on rocksmith until now, gotta go play my bass, bye.
