no new music?
I guess they are NOT going to release any new music untile Rocksmith 2014? They were releasing songs almost every month. but the last release I see was May.

yes, its because they need to focus on rocksmith 2014, Besides we are getting songs released every 2nd week, the base game of RS2014 will be worth it with enough songs to make up for no new DLC.

They have your money, why on earth would they even remotely care about you for funding them? You know you paid good money for rocksmith and you help put the food on their table. They dont care a whoot about any of us, except paying that $60 bucks for the new game.

yep, owned RS1 less than a year and they release a new game without offering existing users a discount. I was hoping for at LEAST 20% off, at most 50% would have been fair. and SnipingOwl..its not like they are writing the music themselves. Im sure they have a seperate division for the music side of the program. All the DLC is supposed to be transferable anyway so they should continue releasing new songs. Im just interested in Rock from the 70's and 80's so I really havn't purchased that much music from them ( was hoping for more from that era though) love to see some "38 Special", "Blackfoot", or Molly Hatchet.

Like somebody said it will probably be on sale by January. I am hoping the new DLC will still work with old RS that would be nice so even If I don't upgrade there will be new songs.

custom songs.

I'm just bummed that the dlc songs are so damn expensive!

You and me both wallhugger. There is a whole community that creates their own "Custom" DLC. From what I can tell steam supresses the info if it is too blatant even though I think the fair use claim is excellent. Anyway do a web search, you will be amazed.

Yea, the custom group is easy to find if you do a google search. Tons of custom songs you'd never see officially released. My only complaint with them is some are not very well done... or lack dynamic difficulty.

Nice link... 8) very "educational"

Actually it is educational. Unless you don't think learning someones version of how to play a song is educational. And they pull a custom if rocksmith comes out with an official version as I understand it. They don't want to have any problems with anybody, they just want to jam.
