Won't start

I've just installed Rocksmith onto my Acer W700 Windows 8 tablet but the screen goes black and just drops back to desktop. I've verified files and run as administrator to no avail.

Any ideas?

Windows 8 isn't supported in this game, however, if you Google it some people have managed to get it working.

I run win 8 and haven't had any issues. I run everything in desktop mode which is almost like win7. Give that a try and see if it helps.

its an i5 with an HD4K in it. The odd thing is, I tried it at work today and it worked perfectly when connected to my external screen via hdmi. I windowed it thinking it might help but no.. .weird,,,,

There are a list of supported graphics 'cards'. See if the one in your tablet is supported. I installed Rocksmith on a Win 8 desktop, and it worked fine without any tweaks or special setup. Trying it on a Win 8 laptop now.
