Rocksmith 2014 audio not working

The audio on my Rocksmith 2014 is not working. My guitar and rocksmith cable work correctly. The 2014 game loads up properly. I checked my guitar and cable using the original Rocksmith and everything works normally, so I don't think it is my guitar or cable. Any ideas? Is there a special sound card I need to check or additional driver I need?
