Dishonored has to be one of the best stealth games i have ever played.
As a person who has played through a decent amount of stealth games, Dihonored manages to shine though the croud and deliver on of the most unique experience in its genre.
Instead of being a highly cover based stealth game, Dishonored's most unique feature is its special abillities. During the game you will come across artifacts that give you points to spend on certian power ups such as the abillity to telleport, use possesion or summon rats.
Dishonored takes advantage of this with its open ended level design, there will be some places that can be difficult to get to without certian power ups, but there are usualy three or four ways to aproach each objectaive, for example in one mission you need to get to go from the start to your objectaive, to get there you could either... posses a fish and go though the gates to the sewers, have a good enough blink or jump abillity to run on top of the roofs and destroy the watch towers, walk through the back streets and go through waves of zombie like creatures or just run through the middle of the big roads and most likly get yourself killed unless you are patient and carefull.
The world of dunwall is an amazingly crafted world, affected by a huge plage, with abbandoned streets and houses to the sewers over run by zobie-like biengs roaming around. This is a world that was made with great detail and a nice victorian style.
The story is decent, starting of with you being framed for a murder you now stride though the land DISHONORED ;)
and the rest of the story unfolds aroud that.
The game has multable endings but I have never been abl to get the best one. I have beat the game twice and the endings were different, although i did not know what caused it to be different as one of your closest allies in the game was slightly hostile towards the end of the game.
There are two major endings one is the "good ending" and the other is obiously the "bad ending" I have never managed to get the "good ending" but to get it you have to apperently not kill as many people and help develop the city and not destroy it. On my second play though were I played in the hardest difficulty and only really knocked a few people out I still got one of the bad endings so there is probably more factores into the endings but I am not fully aware.
As you go through the game the world either gets darker filled with more zombie infested lands or a brighter land filled with more guards. http://i.imgur.com/YV6gt.jpg?1
some of the side missions also affect things in the area and in future levels where you revisit certian areas.
The combat to the game is very fast in fun with many weapos to use although I didn't use it much due to me playing in the highest difficulty.
The game is around a 7.5-9 GB dowlaod and should probably word pretty well on most newish pc's.
I did not experience any crash issues.
I have not bought or played any of the DLC for this game, but the game is still very good without it.
I managed to beat this game in around 10 hours. It may not be the longest time for a game but I hade fun the whole way though, and the replay value is insane as well, I think I might of enjoyed my second playthough better and I could probably go for a third playthough if given the time.
Dishonerd is a game that I could recomend to pretty much anyone, eiether stealth fans or other people the game gives very different experiences depending on the difficulty and which the style of the player they prefer.
Dishonored is one of those games like Skyrim where everyone has a diffent experience and can talk to someone else who has played at and has a completely diffrent story to tell.
Dishonored Is a game where it is just fun to mess around in and just stay in an area and just messing around with each abllity and was an enjoyable game from start to finish.
I would recomend this to anyone looking for a unique experience.
