Broken record, its just a more optimized 7 with a new start menu(nice once you get the hang of it) and more features...
Almost everyone I hear saying it sucks, never tried it...

You have until January 31st, 2013 so if you're going to try it then make up your mind soon. It's a great OS. Don't let Gabe or the rest of the horde tell you any different.
It doesn't allow to move a simple file to other disk because you don't have true admin rights and if you disabled for complete (with a registry hack) the UAC then you can't use App Store apps.
Also all my games have FPS lost in the Windows 8,, and I hate that XBOX thing in windows. (This is the MS commitment for PC eh?) ... maybe is Google time.
Also tablets with W8 are too expensive and there's only 1 monitor in the market (ACER) that supports NVIDIA 3d (I use it) + Touch.
BTW Steve jobs was right.. MS have a terrible taste.. W8 colors are ugly.
