Invisible Enemies, and "first time set up" every time I start a game.

I played Bit.Trip Fate as soon as I bought it. Everything was fine when I first tried it. Now every time I start the game it says "first time set up"

Also, some enemies previously visible have become invisible. I can see that they are shooting at me, but the enemy model is no longer there.

PC Build / OS:

Windows 7 Ultimate Edition

Intel i5 3570K CPU
(AMD) MSI 6970 Lightning Video Card
8GB DDR3 @ 1600Mhz RAM
ASRock Z77 Extreme-4m Motherboard
(not sure if the rest of my set up is releavant , only once has my keyboard caused a problem with a game (F.E.A.R. and Logitech G11 media controls lowered FPS for some reason)

All drivers are updated. No drivers have been changed since I first tried my game a couple days ago.
