Controller support on Mac?
I just bought this and am having no luck with getting a gamepad to be recognised. I'm using a PS1 original Dual Shock with a USB adapter, I've been using this to play games on Mac since I got it in 2003 and it always works with everything including every current emulator...I also tried with an old skool non analog PS1 controller and same result. Has anybody else succeeded in using a gamepad with the Mac version? I haven't been able to try it with a PS3 controller because I don't have my PS3 with me right now.... but as I said the trusty Liksang PS1 USB adapter has always worked flawlessly with everything....

Okay now i've played it a bit, mouse + keyboard control works great, but I'd still like to try it with dual analog sticks... also I encountered another issue that's probably Mac specific. I'm playing on a ♥♥♥♥ty 5 year old Mac Mini, and when I first played the game it defaulted to the native resolution of my 24" Dell monitor which is 1920x1200 and performance was terrible. I dropped the resolution down in settings and then it ran fine, but the problem is that the only resolutions that are selectable below my monitor's native res are 4:3 modes, so it goes 1600x1200, 1280x1024, 1024x786 and so on.. what's missing is 1280x800 and all the other 16:10 or 16:9 resolutions that would allow me to run the game FULL screen instead of pillarboxed (borders on left and right).
To be honest I'm just fed up with this, this is why gaming on Mac is really frustrating....yes I can run Windows on my Mac but the whole point of playing a game on PC or Mac is that you have all your other ♥♥♥♥ that you use your computer for running simultaneously.. so nobody wants to reboot into another OS just to play a game, otherwise you might as well play on a console. Nearly every game I get for Mac that isn't from Blizzard has some kind of problem with display modes, controller support or other annoying porting issue. And just to rub it in, this game has Super Meat Boy in it, and the Mac port of Super Meat Boy is so ♥♥♥♥ing awful it's literally unplayable.. thanks for reminding me :-/
