Red faction: Black screen

Hello. I just bought red faction guerilla for 9.99 But when i try to launch it all i get is a black screen and i can only see my mouse. And if i try to click somewhere the game just shuts down. I have searched the internet for 3 days now and nothing works. One of my friends say i need to log into Games For Windows Live Marketplace, but when i try that is says : Troubleshoot you are missing a windows component. Please help me i just wanna play this game

I am also having this issue with the exception of when I attempt to launch Games for Windows Live, it doesn't launch at all, attempts to reinstall it don't launch, and attempts to uninstall it don't launch. Also, Red Faction Guerrilla doesn't launch, which is interesting, considering I was playing it on a similarly specced computer in 2012.

Basically completely crushed. We need halp.

First, download the latest version of GfWL from http://www.xbox.com/en-US/LIVE/PC/DownloadClient

Then, if that doesn't help, disable Direct3D10:
Library -> right click on Red Faction: Guerrilla -> Properties -> SET LAUNCH OPTIONS... and paste "-nod3d10" (without quotes).

My problem fixed after i put on a password the took off the password on my account... this is serious this is no joke serious
