can't move

I just bought the game, entered my security key. Booted the game and all that. But I cannot move. W,S,A,D, or the arrow keys must not be registering with the game but I can't do anything. WTF!!!!

I'm having the same issue but I can't find out how to do it even after looking up how to edit launcher settings. Is it different for windows 7?

I'm dealing witht the same problem, but i can't figure out how to edit the launch settings. Can't find any search results either. Can someone help me out?

right click on the game in the Steam library, select properties, then click the launch options button, or whatever it's called.

Windows 7 doesn't have a launch option button thats my problem.

John, in Steam where you launch the game, right click on the game and select properties from there. Steam has a launch options of its own. I have windows 7 and it is there.

I am at work or i would take a screen shot for you. on one of the tabs the launuch option button is there.

Also John right click on the game in your library and you should see Properties and will be able to set the launch options.

mine will randonly freeze and the fps will go waaaay down. I know it's not my computer cause it can play any of the newer games like far cary 3 and Assassins creed in the highest resolution. But idk why it happens with this game. anyone know what I can do?

Sorry, thanks it finally clicked today. I was in the steam folder in C: not in the steam app.

This is terribly flawed thinking. A lot of older games have issues with new rigs way more than older rigs, because this game is 4 years old. So if you bought your hardware 2 years ago, do you see what i am saying here?

Did you put the forced DX9 launch option in? That will solve most the issues with this game. This game was being devloped before DX10 was wide spread.
