Interesting concept and theme for an action/puzzle game, but...
After watching the video, I can see why God chose a different tactic with Babel. He didn't hurl lightning and fire at it, He just removed people's ability to coordinate effectively by confusing their language. Problem solved in one brilliant stroke.

Of course, there's not much of a game to be found in that solution. For a fun (but completely fictional / conjectural) twist on why God even bothered with Babel, check out Neal Stephenson's Snowcrash novel.

Maybe God just feels boring, so he would like to have some fun :)

" (but completely fictional / conjectural)"

Unlike the "other" account of that story, right?

It didn't just happen once. It used to be that all FPS and RPG games were good, then god saw that people were enjoying them too much.

To prevent this much happiness he created many different styles of these games that used different keys and reacted to the mouse differently, and even some that would only work with console controllers. Into most games he injected many bugs that often meant people were waiting for patches that never happened.

He saw that this confused the gamers and nobody could decide what game was good and what game was bad, so he was happy.

He did none of these things because he isn't real nor is the story of babel.
