This is an abomination. Regret buying all the things. it doesnt have local co-op unless you can pull an xbox controller out of your ass.

Game is an absolute piece of trash, honestly.
How would you do local co-op otherwise? Two people on one keyboard? That's ghetto as hell.
I've done 4 people on one keyboard splitscreen racing around the time AoE came out. Cant remember what game it was. Perfectly possible, good fun. But with local co-op i was thinking more of LAN. I have the computers and the friends for it. We used to do RVS and AoK every weekend. It's a sad day when new games come with less features then old games. Co-op for pc is such a shipwreck that it's been years since a good, working co-op game came out.

You were wrong. Now you know that on steam Local Co-Op means exactly what in my opinion I understood the first time I saw it. Local...with no "Multiplayer" tag on the Steam page. If the game has tags on it that say "Singleplayer" but no "Multiplayer" that means it doesn't have multiplayer.
You people are really funny. If it is split screen, you write "split screen". And this one IS exactly that. Local co-op is a console world invention that means only one thing - more than one player on a same console. Only in recent years that online services were 'discovered' on consoles you have an option to play through broadband and you could put two consoles in one room, simulating LAN.

PC had all the imaginable options from eighties onward. And playing locally in PC terms firstly means LAN, and then all the other options. The best solution with too many naming conventions, that could mean something different, is to name all available 'on the box'.

But since devs/publishers try to pretend stupid nowdays, let them have negative marketing and low sales, their fault.
You are both missing the point. The issue is that you need xbox controllers for the local co-op. That's an abomination.
