[Bug] Right analogue doesn't work right
I can't get the right analogue of my gamepad, a Saitek Impact X6-38U to work correctly. It can't be used in a twin stick fashion, and can't be remapped within the game. Pressing up on the right analogue fires forward, the other directions do nothing. I've tried using an Xbox 360 pad emulator, Xbox 360 CE, but that doesn't solve the problem. There seems to be no way to remap the sticks in the game, only buttons can be remapped.
My PC is an Pentium Dual Core 6300 (2* 1,86 Ghz), 2GB RAM, GeForce 440 GT, Windows XP SP3
Is there some option in the menus to change from single stick to twin stick layout which I haven't discovered yet?

Had this same problem with my Logitech Rumblepad 2. I worked around it by mapping the keyboards arrow keys to the right stick.

Hmm, would be better to be able to remap the controller and keyboard in-game (not just the buttons). Would be cool if this could be added via updates!

It's not gamebreaking since the option to play without the right analogue is also included (via a lock-on system), and this is the intended way to play I guess, because this game was started as an unofficial NES ROM, and way back in 8 bit times, there was no such thing as analogue sticks.

Hasn't been fixed in the latest patch for the Steam and DRM free version (I'm using the DRM free version, BTW, but since there are only userforums here, I'll post my comments here).

The right stick works on Xbox 360 controllers for windows. Some random third party controllers may not have their right stick detected out of the box. It will be looked into in the patch following the upcoming one.

Cool! Yeah, that's why I tried getting it to run with XBox 360CE, an emulator which gets third party controllers to run as an Xbox-controller. This has worked in many games that require the controller, because my gamepad has only one button less than the Xbox-contoller, IE the guide buttons. Otherwise it has the same amount of buttons, two analogues and a D-Pad, so it should work with Xbox 360-controller games. I think it's a big shame Microsoft don't support Third Party controllers anymore just to push sales of Xbox 360 pads!

Yes, they've done some goofy stuff on that front. The old DirectInput version allows support for all kinds of controllers but they must be manually configured. The new one is automatic but only supports X360 pads. For full, proper coverage, you need to actually integrate BOTH versions into your game. More work than it should be.

Yeah, makes using controllers much more difficult than it should be, and I guess it's a big problem for third party controller manufacturers. Emulators work with most games, but there are some exceptions, sadly RCR is one of them.

This is still an issue. haven't found a good solution for my Logitech Dual Action controller.
