I agree, with valve introducing their steam box I think that Linux is going to become the major platform for PC gaming. Until then I think it works with WINE.

RCR runs great on my netbook, in Wine. Yeah, a full Linux port would be great, but having official support for Wine is good enough in my opinion.

i don't like to use wine, things must work out of the box for me to buy them (well I already bought and played retrocityrampage, but that's like an exception... ;))

Well it works in wine so it seems unlikely it uses .net.
