time to revive this thread.
My changes to video.scr in order to change the FOV (ForcedHorzFov(100)) won't do nothing. I set the file to "read only" and removed the "!" before the line too.
I looked through all the threads I could find about the FOV fix and it seems there were more people with the same issue. Unfortunately, the problem was never resolved.
Has anyone of you got an idea what might cause the FOV to not apply in-game? This seems like a great game, but I just can't bring myself to play with such a cramped FOV.

Then make it read-only. Maybe you need the ".000000" after the "100"?
