Is this a linear shooter or open world?
Just bought the blood dragon/this game bundle. I just want to know about it a bit.

I heard it was linear. Blood Dragon is open world though.

Gunslinger is linear. Blood Dragon isn't.

Does it have a feeling of open world, chopped up into free roaming maps Mario 64 style, or do you get ushered from place to place and event to event within each map?

It's linear. Some parts are little more open to kinda roam than others.

The story is told in a pretty admirable style, but it's pretty linear.
