Help With First Duel

I've just started the game, and have barely played for twenty minutes, and am doing the first instance of the "duel" minigame. I'm aiming the foucs circle, and repeteadly getting it up to >90%, and .4 to 5 reaction times. I aim the red riticle over the heart area, and click. Nothing happens, and I die.

I've done this a half dozen times in a row now.

What am I doing wrong?

you need lower reaction times. when the heartbeat starts pay close attention to their hand and as soon as it starts moving click then when the crosshair appears click again.

Never count on forum users to be able to read and understand more than the most basic of sentences.

Any chance you have a controller plugged in or lying around? Try that, should fix your problem. *fingerscrossed*

There is a great community guide "How not to suck at duelling". After I read that, I was able to get the "Duel honoroubly" achievement. It contains advice for mouse movement to get your focus up to 90 and even 100! Read it and you'll get a lot better after some practice of course.
