Legendary weapons...
So Ive been trying to find a answer to this but I doesn't seem to be able to.
I picked this game up on the steam summer sale and so far Im really liking it, Im putting most points into gunslinger and Ive unlocked the first legendary gun a few levels ago but I still haven't seen it.
Ive been reading around on it and some posts suggest that you get the legendary weapon equipped automaticly when you get the point in it and some say you need to pick it up.
So what is the truth about this? :)
Also if you need to pick them up I haven't seen it in any weapon crate or on a enemy so far.

I always had my legendary rifle/handgun equipped when I started a new level. I can't remember if it equipped automatically when I first assigned the point mid-level or not though.

as soon as you unlock the engraved guns they should overite the standard ones, so you shouldn't be able to pick the standard version of the weapon up, i think theres is a setting in the options to turn these off, maybe you have that selected.

There is a setting for the apperence of legendary weapons that makes them look like the normal weapons which you can turn on or off. As soon as you hev them unlocked, you always get them when you pick up the normal version of it and it will say your picking up the legendary weapon when you look at it.

Hrm ok, well I never noticed any difference after I got it.
And iirc when I replaced it with a "sawedoff shotgun" I found a normal revolver in a chest after that and it wasn't the gun I unlocked...
So I don't think its the option to have the look turned of since I then would atleast see the right name of it but iirc its the same name as the base one.

So checked now and its just six shooter not engraved ranger if I remember the name correctly
