Did anyone actually use it? I find it useless, 2 high power shots from up close, then reload. Does not give much point for combo and the pistols could do it just about aswell, with more room for missing the target cause of much more shots. Its rare the combat is close quarters, so i just dont see the point

It's my favourite weapon in the game and one of my favourite two-barreled shotguns in any game (next to Doom 2's DB-Shotgun). Once you unlock some of the perks for this weapon it becomes a deathmachine, with the ability to reload fast, kill at range and shoot semi-auto without having to reload while using Focus. Just make sure to pair it up with Rangers or any other handgun that is effective at long ranges.

Basically. More then any other weapon type, the depend on perks. They are stupid fun once you beefed them up.

It surprise me that they didn't include the 1887 lever shotty. Double-barrel is too weak for regular combat and akimbo double-shorty is simply not as much fun as any revolver.

But can you keep a combo up when having to reload all the time? I know there is a perk for 50% reload but still. They need to be somewhat close too so its easy to be shot when you run banzai shooting people and then get combo/xp ruined.

What?!?!? The shotgun kicks ass. especially the sawn off version, even more so with dual weild shotguns.

I use shotguns in this game because I think they look and sound cool. And any game that uses Old West double barrels is a game I can respect.

Yes! They are fun, too. Though the double-barreled shotgun is more powerfull.

I thought it was garbage town, if you are close enough for it to be effective you are most likely dying. It seems like once you have all of the skills it is not awful but that is a lot of investment

Ive invested in it now and can confirm it works. With focus you dont have to reload and double saw off means 4 shots. They are still pretty situational, so i still think that the rifle is the best choice.
Anyone who knows the pros of sawed of rifle? In options it just says that i has less range and accuracy than normal rifle. Doesnt say what it does better
