From a quick glance, this may look like it belongs on Miniclip or some other flash game sight, but after playing for a couple hours, you realise that this is worth your $15. Let me tell you why.
So CC takes place in a fictional fantasy land where the princesses are taken or something along those lines. No one is here for the story. So you must travel across the land getting them back, all the while gaining expirience and new skills along the way.
There are several classes in CC, only one of which I've played. That being the useless Hatty from BattleBlock Theatre. Don't choose him. My friend was playing as a blue soldier and had awesome magic skills that allowed him to freeze things. I was more of a tank, dumping all my skill points into health and attack. (Which was kind od unfair for him in PvP battles, get rekt skrub.)
We fought many different enemies and many bosses, at least 5 in 3 hours. That makes the gameplay all the more varied. There is also a lot of comedy in the game, and is rather quite funny. From riding a deer that is being propelled by poo, or fighting eachother over who gets to kiss the princess. Yes, only one gets the kiss, so it's a fight to the death.
There are weapon shops and different animals to add on top of the already sprawling amount of content. By animals I mean wierd things (But cute things.) wandering somewhere behind you while helping you in some way. My animal poops gold, giving me a revenue boost, and my friend's grabs hidden health for him.
So all and all I recommend Castle Crashers, espessially if it's on sale.
