Gamespy and Steam

Hello, I have a question.
I bought SS2 in 2007 or 2008, and it wasn't avaiable on Steam. Only on Gamespy.
If I install SS2 now (gamespy version), can I play with the Steam players?

What cutscene are you crashing at? Is it in the game, or is it happening at the end of the games intro sequence?

No, the intro is good, it crashes at the cutscenes.

Have you tried updating your video drivers and DirectX? Those types of crashes are usually driver related. Especially on Windows version > 7.

Could you please upload that minidump someplace so I can download it? Maybe it will help me figure out the cause.

I've figured out that your crash is DirectX related. I'll have to talk to the experts about what we can do to fix the issue.

Have you tried unninstalling the gamespyversion maybe thats the problem

It's working now, I think. Me and my friend played through the game and in coop mode there's only one cutscene, the ending cutscene. The game didn't crashed.
