Tips or Hints on how to play Voltar?
I've been trying to play Voltar for the most part and done some reading. Does this sound like good practice?

Here's some general pointers:

-Position yourself at the best angle to heal as many allies as possible. This means your creep bots as well. You'd typically have to stand behind your whole team for the best angle.

-Don't select the speed upgrade. It's all preference, but Voltar's default speed is already pretty decent. Voltar isn't meant to chase after enemies and 90% of the game, you're just going to inch along the map so extra speed is unnecessary.

-If you don't die early game, you probably won't die mid-late game. Voltar is meant to excel late game after upgrades so try to stay alive early game.

-Buy the upgrade that gives you Solar for healing. I don't see any successful Voltar build that doesn't start with this upgrade.

-Assuming you have the upgrade that gives you Solar for healing, let your allies kill the creeps. They need Solar too and you can get your own Solar for healing them.

-Follow your teammates early game. Your teammates need you to heal them as much as possible. Once you have drones with light upgrades, you can wander off more to farm creeps.

-When using the healbot near turrets, don't place them too closely. One, the turret will kill it faster. Two, you waste valuable space because the range of healing will go past the turret. Make sure the whole circle/range of healing ends right before the turret so your allies can have as much space possible.

-Voltar can take down turrets by himself pretty early on. You just have to have the flying drones positioned close enough so that the turret shoots at them and heal behind 2 creep bots.

The most important thing to remember IMO is to buy "Dreams of Greed" and "Solar Tree" right away. By mid-late game it's possible that you'd have enough solar to buy everything in the shop. With this build you would also over-leveled your opponents. Good Luck ;)

another clever trick is with the drones. When you stand near a turret the drones fly right next to the turret and absorb quite a few shots. This can let you keep up your attack for longer.
